The Joybringer Project
Good dog. Great joy.
Portraits celebrating the dogs who bring joy into our lives every single day.
The Joybringer Project
Amid the responsibilities, deadlines, interruptions, and downright busyness of everyday life, there is one constant you can always count on: your dog.
He greets you with joy, and offers comfort, laughter, and unconditional companionship.
The Joybringer Project is a limited-time dog portrait experience created to honor your dog and serve as a reminder that even in a noisy world, there is joy.
Your dog’s story is worth sharing!
At the completion of the project, your dog’s story and framed artwork will be featured in a public gallery exhibition. Join me and fellow dog lovers to connect and celebrate!
After the event, take your artwork home to enjoy every day.

A decade of dogs
In 2016, Megan Murray Photography began with one simple focus: photographing dogs just as they are.
Ten years later, this project returns to where it all began: celebrating the dogs who stand by us through the ups and downs of life, bringing joy, comfort, and laughter every day.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your dogs’ stories for ten years, and cheers to ten more!

Absolutely. Training is not required. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and personalities. With patience, treats, and a little space, we’re able to create beautiful portraits.
If needed, we can use a leash and remove it during retouching.

Joybringers are photographed in my private indoor studio, located at 1907 Sabine St, 77007. The studio provides a calm, controlled environment ideal for creating timeless dog portraits.
Outdoor or in-home sessions are also available as an upgrade. You can explore examples of each in the dog photography portfolio.
-
Yes. Each Joybringer session includes up to two subjects. You’re welcome to upgrade your session to include additional dogs and family members if you’d like. See more examples of family portraits.
-
As part of The Joybringer Project, you’ll receive a framed wall portrait of your dog. This piece will be displayed in the gallery exhibition and available for you to take home after the event.
